Modifying source code to display it on WB instead of Custom Screen

I wonder how to modify a source code to display it on WB instead of a Custom Screen, is that a lot of work ?
The user could also choose to go back to custom screen.
I’m guessing that the screen should be Workbench and a window opened there but is there any other thing that I may have missed ?

It's not hugely difficult, the main issue is allocating/sharing pens and remapping graphics. Also you will have to lock and unlock the screen whenever you want to access it. The Worm Wars game can run on either WB or its own custom screen, you could have a look at the source code to see how it is done.
